Mission
Schools are the economic, social, and cultural lifeblood of our communities. The Mohawk and Hawlemont School Committees' plan to shut our schools down forecloses on all of our futures. Our Schools, Our Towns is here to fight for the schools our towns need and deserve.
The Hilltowns have been home to schools since the mid-1760s. Through wars and economic depressions, good times and bad, we have been schooling our children since before the US existed. Are we going to be the first generation to walk away from this history?

The School Committee and their hired consultant, Berk12, have put together a steering committee called 2D8T. Attend one of their public meetings and let them know that our towns can't thrive without our schools.
